My love for travel began at a very young age, while living in Korea with my family for a few years growing up. All of my favorite memories revolve around traveling - from receiving a hug from a koala in Australia to building houses in Guatemala to discovering a hidden gem that serves 300+ spaghetti dishes in a tucked away Italian town to cliff jumping on a balmy summer day in Greece. My passion for photography came a bit later, while longing to capture destinations just as awe-inspiring as they are in the moment - and shooting film allows me to do just that.
Associated with most of these memories is a song. “Ends of the Earth” by Lord Huron was playing while my sister and I were driving (windows down) alongside miles upon miles of lavender fields in Provence while “Chateau” by Angus & Julia Stone was on a loop the day we explored Château de Chenonceau in Loire Valley. Every time I hear these songs, I’m immediately taken back to those days. I find daily inspiration in music and how it enhances experiences and creates more meaningful memories.
When I’m not traveling the world, you’ll find me at home, wandering through the cobblestone streets of Charleston, South Carolina - summer dress on, camera in hand - enjoying beach days with my golden retriever, Brinkley, or listening to records with a glass of wine in hand.
